Microsoft Power BI Developer
At the CRNA, we are committed to driving data-driven decision making across our organization. We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer to transform complex data sets into actionable business intelligence solutions. This role serves as a bridge between technical data management and business strategy implementation, ensuring collaborators at all levels have access to accurate, timely and meaningful insights.
Reporting to the Director, Technology Strategy & Enablement, this temporary, full-time position will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Power BI solutions that drive organizational success.
What You Will Do
Data Analysis and Visualization
- Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to organizational needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and visual clarity across all deliverables.
- Develop interactive features for enhanced user engagement.
- Provide insights through detailed data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
Data Integration and Architecture
- Establish and maintain connections to various data sources including Azure services.
- Design and implement ETL processes for data transformation.
- Create and maintain data warehousing solutions.
- Ensure data security and access control measures are properly implemented.
- Develop and document data governance standards.
Engagement and Training
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business units.
- Provide training and support for Power BI users across the organization.
- Create documentation for end-users and technical teams.
- Present data insights to collaborators at various levels.
- Maintain regular communication with project collaborators.
Innovation and Process Improvement
- Research and implement new Power BI features and capabilities.
- Develop reusable templates and components.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to the establishment of BI development standards.
What You Possess
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience with demonstrated expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX and M languages.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Strong background in data governance, security and access control.
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
- Proven ability to integrate and manage large, complex datasets.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
