Business Coordinator

Business Coordinator

At the CRNA, we are committed to regulatory excellence and safeguarding the public interest. As part of this commitment, we are seeking a Business Coordinator to provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, Strategy & Operations. This position plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day functioning and overall coordination of activities across the Strategy & Operations portfolio.

Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Business Coordinator will help manage daily operations, support strategic project tracking and enable communication across the CRNA’s Strategy & Operations portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, loves managing multiple moving pieces, and brings a solutions-oriented mindset to administrative and operational challenges.

What You Will Do

Executive and Administrative Support

  • Manage calendars, meeting logistics, agendas and action items
  • Coordinate travel and expenses, including acting as a proxy where needed
  • Draft, format and proofread correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Maintain confidentiality while managing time-sensitive documents and requests

Operational Coordination Across the Portfolio

  • Organize internal meetings and collaborative sessions
  • Support cross-functional administrative needs for projects and initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and accessible document libraries and communications
  • Implement process improvements to support team efficiency
  • Manage timelines, deliverables and partner communications

Records and Information Management

  • Maintain organized and secure physical/digital filing systems
  • Oversee version control and timely review of key documents
  • Ensure alignment with records management protocols

Partner Communication and Relationship Management

  • Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and internal departments
  • Facilitate exchange of information between internal and external partners
  • Support culture-building efforts through strong communication and professionalism

What You Possess

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline

Experience 

  • 5-7 years of administrative, executive support or coordination experience, including demonstrated ability to:
    • Manage high volumes of work with accuracy and discretion
    • Coordinate multiple projects and timelines under tight deadlines
    • Work independently and navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments

Skills & Competencies

  • Organization & Attention to Detail: Highly structured, thorough and accurate with exceptional planning, time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong listening skills and clear verbal and written communication. Able to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with scheduling and collaboration tools.
  • Project Coordination: Experienced in supporting initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timely follow-through and effective task execution.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Resourceful, methodical and solutions-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to shifting priorities with flexibility.
  • Professionalism & Discretion: Demonstrates a high level of judgment, discretion, and diplomacy when handling confidential matters. Maintains a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Customer Focus & Inclusivity: Strong service orientation with sensitivity to diversity and commitment to inclusive, respectful communication.
  • Team-Oriented & Results-Focused: A reliable and proactive team player who takes initiative and delivers high-quality outcomes with attention to detail and accountability.
